An Amsterdam fashion brand and a multibrand retail space on De Clercqstraat. Previously known as ABOUT LIFESTYLE.

Ampēre is our own line, designed in Amsterdam. Ampēre started in 2021, founded by Randy Hoogeweegen and Aleks Kuijpers.

Ampēre makes performance clothing for men who spend the day moving. The core is quiet and technical. Four drops a year take that same construction and give it a theme.

The store opened on De Clercqstraat in 2015 as About Lifestyle, backed by more than 100 people from the neighbourhood who believed Amsterdam needed a proper menswear store. In 2026 the store and the brand came together under one name: Ampēre.

In the store, Ampēre is sold alongside a curated selection of menswear from brands we love, picked one by one. Not everything makes the cut. That's sort of the point.
